About Us:
Brass Quintet Amici Musae was founded in 2000 and consists of 5 enthousiatic non-professional musicians. The main objective of the quintet is to make music on a high level with a broad repertoire. With our music we hope to interest as many people as possible for brass quintet music.
The Quintet has a traditional line-up consisting of 2 trumpets, 1 horn, 1 trombone and 1 Tuba. Since its foundation the quintet has performed on various occasions and locations. Amongst these performances there was the opening of the Dutch National Poetry Festival in 2002 and the celebration of 900 years Rolduc. Recently the Quintet has played in Aachen-Burtscheid on invitation of the Lionc Club Aachen-Kaiserpfalz.
